Tell the Gap: Don’t fire workers for organizing!

With your support, the NGA joined a United Worker Congress delegation to India to investigate human rights abuses against migrant garment workers in New Delhi.

This week, we met with 16 brave workers who were fired from a Gap clothing supplier, Modelama Imports, for trying to form a union in the factory.

(Read the delegation’s human rights report here.)

That’s illegal retaliation, and the Gap needs to stand up against it and make sure the workers are reinstated.

The workers are holding a daily vigil at the factory gates to demand their jobs back.

Will you help the workers get their jobs back by signing a petition to Gap Inc. and Modelama to reinstate them?
